Orgun's transmission is received by the Earth's Defence Force, EDF, who entrust the alien data to the super computer I-ZACK linked to build 'n bit whom, under the supervision of Professor Michi Kanzaki, unknowingly rebuild Orgun. Whilst Orgun's body is rebuilt deep within the EDF headquarters, Tomoru begins to experience strange visions of the runaway Evoluder whilst engaging in artificial reality dreams courtesy of PASFU software. In his dreams Tomoru hears Orgun calling him, wishing for him to link up with the armoured solider in order to protect not someone, but something, something long since lost to the Evoluder.
